Los Gigantes has a wide variety of shops, restaurants and bars, as well as its Hotel. 3 pools  beach and Marina. And magnificent walks. You will find: Several supermarkets High fashion Gift shops Sports wear Local pottery Spanish embroidery Perfumeries D.V.D’s / video Internet Access English food shops Jewelry / pearls There are  bars and restaurants to suit every taste and budget. You will find: International cuisine of all types Tea  shops Patisseries Snack bars Bars with excellent entertainment: T,J’s, The Bamboo Bar, Paddy’s Bar You will not find nightclubs, discos and rowdy night life. The village closes down by 12.00 pm There are several English language free newspapers and booklets  around  which will give you details of current local events. Public Holidays:- 1 & 6 Jan / 1 April /  Maundy Thursday  / Good Friday  / Easter Sunday & Monday  / 1 May  / 29 June  /5 July  / 15 Aug  / 12 Oct  / 1 Nov / 6, 9, 25, 26 Dec Fiestas : Are a mixture of religious and public holidays . All banks are closed and  also many food shops. Siestas  are  13.00 – 16.30  and are popular with locals. Noise should be kept to a minimum. Any disabled facilities in Los Gigantes ? While the Marina itself is perfectly level and so is  the apartment complex of Poblado Marinero which has lifts and wheelchair ramps where needed , the town of Los Gigantes is built onto a steep hillside and  may not be the ideal resort for disabled persons.
